How to Block Facebook Accounts

Posted by   on Pinterest

Facebook allows you to edit various privacy settings of your profile to safeguard your information. You can decide who sees what on your profile and determine who may access your photos, videos, status updates and wall postings. You can also completely block specific users from viewing your profile or contacting you. Block any user's account to take control of who you interact with on Facebook.

One click install to access blocked websites from work or school

Step 1

Click the drop-down arrow of the "Account" tab at the top of your Facebook homepage.

Step 2

Select "Privacy Settings" from the options that appear. A new page opens.

Step 3

Click the "Edit Your Lists" link of the "Block Lists" section at the bottom of the page. The Block Lists page loads.

Step 4

Locate the "Block Users" section. Click inside of the "Name" field, then enter the full name, or partial name, of the person you want to block. Click the "Block User" button next to the text field. A new window opens displaying the search results of profiles that match the name you entered.

Step 5

Click the "Block" button next to a person's name to block his account. After clicking the button, Facebook will automatically take you back to the Block Lists page. The blocked account will appear under the "Block Users" section.

Step 6

Click the "Home" tab to return to your Facebook homepage.
