Facebook allows you to edit various privacy settings of your profile to
safeguard your information. You can decide who sees what on your profile
and determine who may access your photos, videos, status updates and
wall postings. You can also completely block specific users from
viewing your profile or contacting you. Block any user's account to take
control of who you interact with on Facebook.

Step 1
Click the drop-down arrow of the "Account" tab at the top of your Facebook homepage.
Step 2
Select "Privacy Settings" from the options that appear. A new page opens.
Step 3
Click the "Edit Your Lists" link of the "Block Lists" section at the bottom of the page. The Block Lists page loads.
Step 4
Locate the "Block Users" section. Click inside of
the "Name" field, then enter the full name, or partial name, of the
person you want to block. Click the "Block User" button next to the text
field. A new window opens displaying the search results of profiles
that match the name you entered.
Step 5
Click the "Block" button next to a person's name to
block his account. After clicking the button, Facebook will
automatically take you back to the Block Lists page. The blocked account
will appear under the "Block Users" section.
Step 6
Click the "Home" tab to return to your Facebook homepage.
